| Fund Raisers at Linwood A+ |  | Several fund raisers occur throughout the year. They may include the Fall Family Fun Night,
T-shirt/sweatshirt sales, the Spring Plant Sale, and the Silent Auction. Linwood had it's 4th Silent Auction in 2007-2008, and it was a HUGE success!
Items were donated from staff, parents and community members ranging
from jewelry and restaraunt gift certificates to services such as
massages and teeth whitening. Delicious appetizers were served along with
beverages, and our own Principal Unowsky served as Master of
Ceremonies. We raised an amazing amount of money, and we are currently planning
our 5th auction this year!
Fund raisers help finance artist
residencies, buy and bar code books for the Library, provide extra
money for specialists, finance field trips for classrooms, build
classroom libraries, and support special events like African American Parent Involvement Day.
