Drama at Linwood this year will continue to have a focus on reading but will
add math to the menu. We'll use creative drama and play production
to improve reading skills, especially in fluency and  | | 3rd grade drama students prepare for a Gathering. |
comprehension, and will
explore ways to integrate drama and math. Social studies and geography will
also be supported as students create historic plays and learn about theatre
forms around the world. A strong emphasis will be placed on learning about
puppets and puppetry this year.
