Linwood is fortunate to have a terrific group of volunteers, but we can ALWAYS use more!
We
currently have a fantastic group of parents who volunteer their time
and talents in a variety of ways, including shelving books in the
library, leading a Scrabble club, arranging fund-raisers, serving on
committees, and being lunch buddies-just to name a few!
We
are extremely pleased to have a volunteer partnership with Macalester
College students, who volunteer as reading buddies with our kids. These
volunteers come and read with their buddy while  | | A parent volunteer helps kindergarten students. |
they share a lunch
together once a week. Our kids LOVE this individual attention.
We
are currently in need of adults who could help students with math
skills, but if math is not your forte' we will find a place that is
right for you at Linwood A+.
Emily Redding is Linwood's Volunteer Coordinator this year, coming to
us through the Capital City Education Initiative. She would be happy to
help get you involved in the every day fun at Linwood, so please call
