Math
We are moving right along in our Everyday Math curriculum. We
finished Unit 1 and had a test this week. As soon as we
record test grades, we will send the tests home with a checklist that
shows where your child is and should be in understanding the concepts
in Unit 1. Look for a math family letter at the beginning
of each unit and add it to the folder. By the way, all the
answers to the Home Links are in the family letter. That way you
will always have the answers to Home Links, making it easier to help
your child.
**Please send empty paper towel rolls to school for a math project.
ALC
If you have signed your child up for ALC, just a reminder that it
starts on Monday, October 3, from 2:30-4:45. If you have any
questions about ALC bussing please contact Mrs. Jones here at Linwood
A+.

The proper pencil grip is very important! On the back of this
newsletter is an explanation of the proper pencil grip and tips for how
you can help your child.
