 | |  | | | | Fund Raisers at Linwood A+ | | Several fund raisers occur throughout the year. They may include the
Scholastic Book Fair, the Fall Carnival, Barnes and Noble,
T-shirt/sweatshirt sales, and the Spring Plant Sale.
Linwood had it's 2nd Silent Auction in 2005-2006, and it was a HUGE success!
Items were donated from staff, parents and community members ranging
from jewelry and restaraunt gift certificates to services such as
massages and teeth whitening. Lovely appetizers were served along with
beverages, and our own Principal Unowsky served as Master of
Ceremonies. We raised an amazing amount of money, and we hope to have
our 3rd auction this year!
Fund raisers help finance artist
residencies, buy and bar code books for the Library, provide extra
money for specialists, finance field trips for classrooms, build
classroom libraries, and support special events like a school picnic
and African American Parent Involvement Day.
